You know that age-old joke about “the last place you look is always the place you find something”?  Finding something is always easy if you know where to look. In electric and plumbing, that’s sometimes difficult for people to figure out who is “at their level” to give good advice. Help-seekers tend to come in three categories:

1. DIY’s Do-It-Yourselfers: Folks who are either bold enough or confident enough to tackle a job themselves with the proper assistance.
2. Let’s call this group “Semi-Pros”:  folks who have done this sort of thing but it’s been a while. Or perhaps people who own rental properties, vacation properties, or do maintenance for hotels or large offices. They might not be a “specialist” at any particular thing but they’ve done a little bit of everything and they need stockpiles of supplies plus the occasional tip on how some new product works.
3. Pros: Professional people who really don’t need advice.  They need what they need and they want to get it and get back to work. Time is money … don’t waste mine.

This is one of the areas that makes a Grover store different in that we can cater to all 3 of these categories.

As to do-it-yourselfers, we actually ENJOY helping people do it themselves!  We use the old “grab a number” system.  Once you have your number you know someone is going to get to you and answer all your questions. Our people are trained and know what they’re talking about and … well, it’s your turn to ask!

Semi-pros get that middle ground they’re looking for. They can get in and out with all the things they need in the volumes they need and at the prices they need. We carry emergency lighting, plugs, switches, all your maintenance plumbing supplies like toilet repair, drain snakes, facet repair parts, etc.  And some things like light bulbs can even be purchased at volume pricing too.

Professionals have been coming here for years because we carry what they want and we get them out the door quickly.   And, just like the semi-pros, they get the convenience of buying some things in volume at volume rates.

We’re the last place you look even if we were the first place you looked!
